High Temp Rigid TPU | 2.85mm | 750g
Combining the benefits of TPU, with rigidity, high temperature resistance and ease of printing!
Due to its low warping properties and relatively low printing temperatures, our Rigid High Temp TPU is one of the most heat resistant materials that can be printed even on hobby type 3D printers.
Being a TPU, it maintains good resistance to a wide variety of conditions including impact, vibrations, abrasion and wear resistance, as well as resistance to fats, oils, oxygen, ozone, hydrolysis, antimicrobial and UV.
This TPU has a shore hardness level of 83D which is about as rigid as a hard hat. It has 170% elongation at break and a vicat softening temperature of 160 ºC!
Please note:
While this material has many great properties, after opening the multi-layer vacuum packaging, it must be kept as dry as possible for optimal 3D printing results. It is even recommended to dry the material in a dehydrator prior to each use.
Printing Temperature | 230°C - 250°C |
Bed | 80-100°C |
Fan | ON |
Speed | 40-60 mm/s |
Note | The viscosity of this material generates cavitation during production, since the material is not pigmented, very small "voids" may be visible inside the filament, this is normal and does not affect the printing performance or finish of the material. |
